NPQML (National Professional Qualification for Middle Leaders) Training.
Hope School and College are very proud to be delivering the prestigious 
National Professional Qualification for Middle Leaders (NPQML) in association with Star Institute. The training will be delivered by highly experienced practitioners who have led and/or are currently leading and developing strategies and initiatives across school and college.
The NPQML (National Professional Qualification for Middle Leaders) is a qualification aimed at current aspiring middle leaders based in- Education Services, Primary, Secondary or Special School settings. The programme tackles issues relating to a team within an organisation. On completion of NPQML you will be equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence to drive your team forward.
In a recent Quality Assurance observation, the training session was described as ‘Highly effective and exceptional in some areas and course facilitators had a ‘real ambition for participants to learn and develop.’
The course will be delivered over 4 full days with additional online learning modules. The dates for the next cohort are:
Day 1 Wednesday 24TH June 2020 9.30- 3pm – Curriculum, Teaching and Assessment – Wednesday 24TH June 2020
Day 2 Wednesday 30th September 20209.30- 3pm – Achievement for All / Leading Effective Change / Understanding Performance / Planning for Development / Evaluating the Effectiveness of Professional Development
Day 3 Wednesday 2nd December 2020 9.30- 3pm – Leadership Styles and Building a Team / Communication and Partnership Working
Day 4 Wednesday 24th March 2020 -9.30- 3pm Monitoring the Effectiveness of Interventions / How to deal with things not going to plan / Partnership Scenarios
Online study (to be accessed in your own time)– 1st module – Introduction. 2nd Module Implementation & Resource Management. 3rd Module- Project and Risk Management
Day 5 – Final Project workshop- date offered if required (date to be decided 9.30- 3pm )
The cost of the training is £950 per applicant
Participants from mainstream primary, secondary, special schools and any educational service are welcome to apply. All training days include lunch, please let us know your dietary requirements.
