Remote/Home Learning

If your son/daughter is ever at home due to medical reasons or other you may be in need of some curriculum support or some ideas of how to keep them busy and engaged in learning at home.

If you ever need to ask about remote/home learning ideas, then your first port of call is to contact the class teacher and ask for advice.

In school we have access to some wonderful websites and apps that you may use at home.

These are shown below:

HelpKidzLearn has been specially designed for the individual needs of every student and offers adaptable tools and flexible pathways to empower all learners, regardless of learning challenges or unique abilities, to succeed and reach their full potential. Helpful reminders about eSafety

How do I keep my son/daughter safe online?

  • Supervise your son/daughter when they are online when using these apps.
  • Make sure you log in and out, do not save passwords on the computer.
  • Limit online learning to 2 hours per day with breaks.
  • If using an iPad, activate ‘guided access’ to ‘lock’ into activities
