Attendance

A number of measures are in place at school to support families with their child’s attendance. On the first day of your child’s absence, parents and carers should contact school directly by telephone 01942 824150 to inform staff of their child’s absence and give the reason why. Speaking directly to staff in the school office ensures that all people who need to know of your child’s absence are informed and is the best and safest way to ensure your child’s accurately marked on the register. On the first day of pupil absence, if no phone call has been received from parents or carers, a member of the admin team will phone parents to enquire about the pupil’s wellbeing.
