Long Term Planning

Across each department, the curriculum is carefully mapped through long-term plans that provide a structured sequence of learning across the academic year. These plans are built around a range of age-appropriate themes and topics that reflect pupils’ stages of development and individual learning needs. Rather than being ends in themselves, the themes and topics act as engaging vehicles through which knowledge, skills and experiences are delivered across our learning pathways, ensuring breadth, progression and meaningful connections throughout the curriculum.
